    HP LaserJet Pro P1102w

    • It was supposed to initiate a "smart install" out of the box, but when I opened the box there was a letter from HP stating that the smart install had been disabled.
    • The smart install worked fine and I had wireless printing!

    • but I prefer to first install via USB and let the latest software do the work from installing the drivers to attaching itself to the router
    • So I have nothing to say about the wireless capabilities, but I loved the easy install on my network

    • I had no idea what I was doing, but I followed the very specific and accurate instructions by R. Ruiz and sure enough, the printer was installed with wireless capabilities.
    • The problem with HP printers, for anyone who has been around the block with them before, isn't their set-up now, which it looks like they have finally un-hosed with their new 'Smart-Install' program, the problem usually is ink and drums
