I don't even think wireless printing is supported under OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion, but I'm not sure because I gave up after a few days of trying and went with a USB connection

Wireless printing works like a charm so far

That's why I decided I needed a more stable wireless printing solution for all my devices at home that can print without passing thru the Airport Extreme router as a print server

I assumed a $145 printer would be also print color...wrong!

The print is clear and very dark.

the print is pretty fast and it can be easily place where i need it due its size

This new one has a much smaller footprint, is super quiet and prints great.

This is great for students as well, small foot print that takes little space on a desk and will probably cost far less in the long run.

For instance, one day the printer is printing just fine...send a print job, and it shoots it out of the printer.

The toner is reasonably priced, and produces crisp printing that you generally only see on much higher end machines

Since we don't need color, laserjet (dry toner instead of ink cartridges) seemed like the logical solution, and this printer has fulfilled our (very modest) printing demands just fine.

We already had a color deskjet and the printing costs were just too expensive printing in color.

The fact that this also supports "Google Cloud Print" and HP printing via email are side bonuses

The '1102 produces good quality print and is very fast over a WiFi connection

This printer does a nice job on full pages, but it's really lousy printing #10 envelopes

Great quality printing (I only needed black and white) and NO paper jams in over a year.

Fast clean/crisp printing for standard home use and maybe even small office use.

I am very pleased with the 1102 - it is fast, good print quality and easy to use

It has the exact dimensions and therefore compact footprint of the earlier P1006 model, but with the added feature of built-in wireless printing, faster printing output and a sleeker glossy black colour

It works very well, doesn't get jammed, prints quickly and requires no maintenance other than dusting

but HP is my printer of choice, so when the time came to upgrade from our workhorse HP1012 to something that supported Network printing (AND Win7, and Office2010), I wanted a wireless printer

I have not tried a bunch of fancy prints or high volume prints, but for me this is an excellent printer.

The starter toner it comes with expects to print a few hundred pages and so far I have printed about 140 with no problems and crystal clear print.

BINGO - printing was fine once more.

I consider this a significant flaw for a wireless printer that is intended to support printing from, say, a different room.

Summing up: Despite its cherubic cuteness and snappy print output, the 1102w is the opposite of dependable

Now she can work on her laptop and print directly from her dining room table or her bed, or wherever she is.

The HP LaserJet Pro P1102w printer has been a good purchase for our office, and prints documents very well

But inside in the fine print it says it support OS 10.5 and OS 10.6.

Laser printers offer sharp text and fast printing and this one is no exception

Easy to set up and has great print quality.

Of course I won't be surprised if HP is constantly finding ways to shorten the shelf life of laser toner cartridges from lesser printing output to having a use by date for better printing quality

I use it at a second office where I just needed somemthing that had good print quality but was not a big investment as the printer does not get daily use

I am overall very pleased with this laser; the print quality is good, price of cartridges and the number of sheets that print with each cartridge is excellent

I installed the wireless printing on my laptop and that worked too without a problem

Set-up wasn't as easy as connect and go, but it only took a few minutes to set up wireless printing, worth it.

Working with Google cloud print within 15 minutes of opening the box ( [...] ) - Very fast and efficient printing ... it's a laserjet.

Updating to 3 stars because it is a great printer (nice quality printing and fast, never jammed) but the wireless problems were very very frustrating

I love that it's wireless, and does a extremely fast printing job

This printer printed very well until I installed Mountain Lion on my Mac.

It makes some noise while printing, though, so I try not to print when my roommate is sleeping

It is fast and the printing is crisp and clear.

It has excellent monochrome print quality and is very fast.

It got pretty ridiculous to have to constantly go into the computer room and either print from the desktop (After emailing yourself the document), or unplug from the desktop and into your own laptop

I have an old Epson 220 printer that does a wonderful job printing on disks.

CONCLUSIONSmall footprint, well built, good quality fast prints but a little tricky to set up if you use MAC address filtering on your wireless router

After the small initial toner cartridge was used up and I put in a new cartridge, the printing deteriorated markedly.

A basic, no frills B&W laser printer with decent print speeds.

I urged her for years to get a laser printer, and since I already own an HP 1012 laser, I convinced her of it's great printing, not to mention that the toner lasts a long time

Consider another printer if you want RELIABLE wireless printing

It would stress me out to have to use that inkjet because of the cost of the replacement ink and the amount it would burn through even on the economical print setting

In August, got a Brother Ink Jet MFC-J435W for my workhorse, for the cheap ink refill cartridges that I can return to the office stores for credit & nearly free printing.

Luckily, technology has advanced greatly since then and this product has wireless capability for other computers to print connected via your internet router.

the quick shut down, relatively quiet printing process, and very quick to wake up for printing.
