Being a new printer (released by HP in the fall 2010), I expected it would work on my new IPad using IPad's "airprint feature

One other great feature is that it accepts off brand toner cartridges that are sold on Amazon and they work well

Not having to plug this into my computer with yet another cable to add to my rats nest of cables is another great feature of the printer

I am satisfied with the operation and quickness of this printer, however I could not get the wireless feature to operate and did not contact HP for help

This is a great feature if you have Apple products

:It is much easier for Windows users, you don't even have to take the CD-ROM out of its case, because the printer has this "Smart Install" feature so that when you connect the printer (turned on) to the computer using USB, it automatically downloads the driver installation from the printer to the computer

Love the wireless feature

One of the best features is the ability to "hook" this up to your Wi-Fi network

The obvious feature that makes this printer easy and convenient is of course the Wi-Fi capabilities

It works pretty well and the wireless is easy to set up and a really nice feature

Once set up it runs fine- quality of print is great, speed of printer is excellent- auto power on/off is a nice feature.

A few months later the wireless feature gets less reliable

I did not use the wireless feature, preferring to connect it to my computer and let my son access it through the network

Being able to print from anywhere in the house is a great feature.

One of the cool features is that the printer powers

The second great feature is it's affordable cost

(Some printers actually don't have this appreciated feature.

The wireless feature will not work and if your Mac is 10.7 or above you're probably going to have to return this printer

The printer will go to "sleep" after X minutes of inactivity, but will come back to life with the next job, and this is a cool, energy-saving feature.

Most of the time, the wireless feature renders the printer completely unresponsive, to the extent that even as I disable the wireless option on the printer and physically plug it to the computer, it still doesn't work

Although this printer has many laudable features, it has a significant problem that potential purchasers should be aware of

The most impressive feature of this printer is startup speed

Well my experience with this printer has sent me back to HP, as it died after just 3 months.

We've had multiple problems with the initial wireless setup not working as it is supposed to

We did have a power outage which required the printer to be turned on manually, once that was done, everything works as it should.

It has been in use now for quite a long time and works just as good as when it ws first purchased.

The first page prints almost instantly and each subsequent page spits out as fast as you could ever want

They have been nearly trouble-free, and don't jam nearly as often as the printers they replaced
