I use this on occasion when I need to see color, but the colors aren't vivid

They're pretty washed out, even on the Vivid color setting

Makes copies, double sided printing, marvelous color, relatively quiet, fast and has faxing capabilities

The pages print crisp and clean and the colors are very vibrant.

My requirements searching were a compact color printer with duplex (double sided printing, automatic)

Good color quality (haven't printed photos yet) and great extra features (like scanning docs directly to your cloud account)!

The ink cartridges are easy to installed, slide and click, color coded and easy to match to the color code on the printer.- Long install time:

I'm still using the initial printer cartridges too (1 month of use) and it was cool to have a visual on the liquid ink level (instead of trusting the printer to tell you / waiting for poor color).

so I use more ink, which is pricey, but I have found a generic through EZINK that works just as well and the color is just as good when you use the True Color Enhancement feature.

I was hopeful this would be a decent color printer and really like the compact size

While the printer is great for documents in black, it does not print colors well.

It should be noted that the utility asks you to identify which colors are spotty, which one would assume meant the cleaning cycle would only affect those.

Photo printing was excellent with vivid colors and without any striping.

It's going back to Amazon and I will continue my search for a compact color printer.
