It prints photos fine too although clearly a step down from a specialized photo printer.

With our previous printer we could print fairly decent photos.

It can print both sides of paper and it makes very good quality photos on photo paper.

Once again, if you want seriously good B&W photos, you need a printer with a dedicated black photo cartridge and a separate gray cartridge.

Photos when printed on Brother photo paper look as good as professional lab photos.

you have to manually put the photo try in place and THEN select different paper options on the control panelgetting the best photo print settings selected is an art

If you want great black-and-white photo printing, get a dedicated photo printer with a separate cartridges for black pigment ink and gray ink
