Brother Wireless All-in-One Inkjet Printer, MFC-J895DW, Multi-function Color Printer, Duplex Printing, NFC One Touch to Connect Mobile Printing, Amazon Dash Replenishment Enabled

    • The ink cartridges are cheaper than Epson (a lot cheaper) and, as long as the printer is plugged in, it will periodically clean the ink cartridges even when the printer is off (scared the heck out of me the first time it happened). The software is kind of lame and not at all intuitive, but once I figured it out, it is a piece of cake
    • I'm only saying that I haven't tried it yet but because nothing ever tried has worked the first time
    • but, I had a hard time getting the WiFi to connect.
    • I am having a hard time pairing it with my Chrome book and it is my primary computer
    • I am having a difficult time connecting to it via Bluetooth.
    • This has typically been difficult with other printers, but it was easy this time
    • but I have to go through a several step process to make it work which is time consuming and a real pain.
    • It is all the time getting paper jams
    • It jams almost every time and I have to make multiple attempts to get the rear feed to take the label paper at all
    • It jams about every third time i try and print and it will only take three or four pieces of paper at a time.
    • but if you don't abuse it, it should last a long time.
    • The problem is that every time I have to print an envelope I will have to wiggle the printer forward and support it as it prints from the rear.
    • And every time it is a more complex issue.
    • Replaced all 4 ink cartridges for the 3rd time, went through cleaning 4 times until test print looked right
    • I would recommend this machine for home use any time.
    • I do not have an authorized Brother dealer near me and have had a veery hard time getting help from Brother.
    • It will waste your time and money.
    • Having a hard time getting the USB in to scan
    • I suspect that is a factor for everyone, but in a household with an active student who is printing daily, I expect to be paying for this printer several times over, unless we replace it, which I may well do
