Both Canon and HP could be great but both lack good documentation or don't have current drivers and most buyers wouldn't know how to download and install drivers

Ok...so we have had this printer for 6 months, it replaced our canon pixma that finally died

The picture quality is not as good as my canon printer that had died

Normal printing is very fast, but when it comes to photo printing (especially borderless) it can take a long time, almost an hour for 8x10 picture, picture is good but not as good as my old Canon.

Also, the canon was hard to set up and I had to call Canon a lot.

Works pretty good, a bit slow and loud but is awesome compared to my previous printer from hell (Canon Pixma)

bought this to replace a canon pixma that had never worked reliably and suddenly stopped completely

I bought this printer to replace my more expensive Canon MX922 that crapped out on me (what a nightmare and please do not waste your money on that printer)

My more expensive Canon took more than a minute to do this, and shut down time on that was even worse.

Loving it as I did with my 2013 model.

As usual though, there's too much B.S. with the driver's not working as they are supposed to work
