The print copies are very good, both color and b&w and so are pictures

After about 100 pages the yellow color ran out it refused to print anything (even though there was some ink left), even in black and white, which is frustrating when you want to print up your time sheet at the end of the month

Color is off on some photos, so I wouldn't recommend for reproducing images, but very quiet and efficient

It's good enough for a cheap printer, but you'd better have spare cartridges handy, and my yellow Brother™ ink ran out incredibly fast, and the new one is on its way somewhere - and I cannot print a shipping label until that new, expensive ink cartridge gets here

I like the 4 separate ink cartridges that allow to only change the color needed.

The Brother website claims this is to prevent the printer from damaging the print head because of empty cartridges, but there should be a manual override to force it to print black-only when you have a perfectly good and full black ink cartridge like I did
