This is not a problem for users who need or want to use an online print service such as Google Cloud Print

I've read the instructions online relating to this problem a couple of times now and it appears that I may be able to configure the printer to print from Google Cloud IF I used a Mac or Windows to do the setup process

The Brother iOS app for the printer offers some handy options for printing, scanning, and faxing as well as extra options such as bluetooth and Google Cloud Print.

I can print from my Android Smart Phone, save scans to my Google Drive and Print for Google Cloud Printing

The set up was easy, it works with Google Cloud for printing from a Chromebook, as well as all my other devices

I manually added the IP Address and finished the rest of the Google Cloud steps to add a printer and voila

But ... Since I had to set it up to print to my Chromebook ... I did have a little problem getting it connected to Google Cloud Print
