Double sided printing works very well without additional assistance from me turning over paper.

As with every Brother printer I have owned it works trouble free, easy to install and prints wonderfully

Not received yet at the time of this review, but i already own one of these printers and works great with the right drivers

I have never written a review before but this printer works very well for home use, prints each document about six seconds which is plenty fast enough for me

The scan works great as well however, making copies, takes absolutely forever!

27 B&W PPM is a complete lie

It does a good job printing and the price was very nice.

This printer does a good job scanning in documents in the top feeder which is a nice feature I did not have before

Otherwise, it does a good job scanning, copying, and printing

And this printer does just as good a job, printing, copying, scanning and even the occasional fax.

I bought this printer because I had heard that brother had good products

I used to have a very good Brother printer and was hopeful this would be an inexpensive way to get a wireless color inkjet, but this is clearly a shoddy product designed to extract as much cash from buyers as possible.

It can print on postcard paper, which didn't work on my old Epson, and has a lot of nice features like duplex printing.

Update:I’ve had the printer for awhile now and it devours ink, I was constantly replacing expensive cartridges for the tiny amount of printing I do

It's bad enough that we sometimes have to waste whole cartridges of new ink because the printer won't read it as a full tank, and there's only one chance for that cartridge to be read correctly.

Mine was installed within 1 hour - including the paper jam issue and installing some useful, optional software.

I mostly print Word docs, but the few times I've printed pictures, they turn out nice enough to put on the fridge (get a fancy photo printer if you want art gallery quality)

This time I at least knew the Ink Changing Ritual so it wasn't that bad.

I don't know how durable it really will be time will tell.

The last HP printer was a cheaper type but a real piece of junk after a few months.

And if that wasn't enough, this piece of junk refuses to print in black and white if the Cyan, Magenta and Yellow cartridges are empty

I am one who generally dreads technology and set up (because it usually takes so much longer than anticipated, doesn't work as expected, missing a piece, you name it), but this one was a breeze

It performs its functions adequately, after a few days of start-up hassle visa-vis Google Cloud Print

After I did that, it was fairly easy to add to Google Cloud print on my Chromebook

However, Google Cloud Print couldn't find the printer, and finally, when I used the CD, it took me partway through an installation process (including a "successful" wireless setup process) and then STILL couldn't find the printer ("No device found").
