If you have not been running print jobs all day then the beast will require that you clean the print heads to obtain any sort of readable copy

Setup and configuration was a breeze, and I was able to set up the printer (40 min, mostly taken up by the printer priming the ink system) and hook up 3 machines to use this over the network (20 min) quickly and easily

Setup failed and when I was notified that it failed, I wasn't given a way to reach Epson or any kind of guidance on how to resolve the issue

Effective/high quality standard paper printing.- Photo paper prints slightly faded/lower resolution.- Easy setup & latest drivers available on the Epson site (Google search "[product name] driver") - Apple'a auto driver installer could not locate the driver on its own, but it was easy to find

I have been a loyal Epson user for over 10 years, I have no problem so far with the physical performance, however be aware that this printer does not use airprint, and the iPrint mobile software you are supposed to use is designed like it is from the 1990s

We got support from the Epson support team and they advised us to run the Print Head Nozzle Check

The photos that I have printed to date on fine matte paper look beautiful, although the printer provided me with a warning that I did not have the correct paper loaded in the letter-sized paper cartridge.
