The print quality is great with documents as well as photos.
We have a very old, very temperamental photo printer, which prints great photos, but drives us crazy to use!The HP Envy is the best of both worlds for us!
3in1's (scanner, copier, printer), but none of them print a really nice quality photo.
Great buy, not as good as a photo printer, but prints well.
Prints very nice photos, in my opinion and documents look sharp and crisp
Love the average price of the ink as well, definitely reasonable!!
Plus the price is cheap
I'm probably like so many others that got sucked in on the great price of this printer...only to be supremely disappointed in its print quality, even of basic documents.
Easy to start , works great with my IPhone and IPad , print on both front and back of pages, good price
Why is it so hard to manufacture a reasonably priced printer that works for longer than 1 year (or in this case, 3 weeks).
I like it easy setup and prints good quality pictures on 4x6 picture paper
BUT the quality of printing pictures not so great and that is why I ordered this one
This is a normal cheap ink-jet printer, pretty bad print quality, slow and cheap - which is ok since that's what I expected for the price, but the software that's needed for this is a joke
I like the paper is inside the printer and it prints with really nice quality.
Was hesitant about it being so cheap, but its quality certainly isn't cheap.
I don't like printer contacting HP every time you turn it on.
I was concerned that it would be an hours-long setup process and I can honestly say that I've never encountered an easier time setting up and connecting my wireless printer.
I recommend this printer to family and friends all the time and give it 5 stars!
The same issue cropped up again and this time the applet I downloaded won't fix it
Knowing that the next time I needed to print I would have an issue and they would be there to “help”.
When I declined the instant ink offer the wifi to my printer was turned off and I couldn't print anything until I added it back on.
@#$&!,!So, I run unplug the printer, reselect the “correct WiFi” for ALL devices in my home manually ...call Comcast again to resend a signal and reboot and all my devices begin working again
The wifi on it kills the home wifi, and the ink cartridges are always having problems
The printer freezes up my wifi ... cannot stream while using the printer

HP loses 1/2 star for the cheap flimsy fold-out paper catcher which will likely be broken within 1 months of purchase
In the HP Envy 5055, it’s an inconvenience switching out regular paper for photo paper and vice versa because there is only one tray
Also the unit is always "asking" to order color cartridges , and "wanting" to recalibrate after everything - even when just adding paper (to do this wastes ink, paper, and time)!
