It still is using ink with very poor quality, but says there isn't any ink in the tanks.

The line was a little soft so the quality of the image was disappointing, not terribly, but not as good as I would have hoped based on the high quality of the other things I'd printed out.

We have only had it for a month and we aren't even half way through our ink so it just doesn't make sense that a $1000 printer out of the box does not print in good quality

Printing photographs on special inkjet photo paper, the quality of output is quite good, though it's not the strong suit of this particular model

Effective/high quality standard paper printing.- Photo paper prints slightly faded/lower resolution.- Easy setup & latest drivers available on the Epson site (Google search "[product name] driver") - Apple'a auto driver installer could not locate the driver on its own, but it was easy to find

unless the ink deteriorates over time, I may well have ink remaining in the wells even after two years, which would be a great thing.
