Instead of purchasing the cheap $5 Baofeng mics (I made this mistake as the audio quality for transmission is horrid), I finally picked up one of these and then purchased another one since it was such good sounding audio for the price.

The sound is 90% as good as from the radio's internal speaker, but then again the UV-82 has phenomenal sound compared to the UV-5R, so I'm not surprised the radio sounds stronger than the shoulder mic
