Buddybar Door Jammer Home Security Door Bar

    • Very highly recommend this bar to anyone living alone...or who just want more security.
    • From my testing I think even a heavy set burglar would have to give at least several full on hits to defeat the Master Lock bar and would have to break the door with the Buddybar
    • , I am not sure in how many degree angel I should place the bar for it to be totally sufficient
    • Of course I could have kicked the door hinges or something else, but the point is that I have found this bar to be far more effective than the plastic-tipped alternative jams which have not held up to muster because of weak plastic joints or a too-slippery rubber bottom
    • I feel a good sense of security knowing that if someone ever tried to open or kick in my door this bar will add extra leverage to stop them.
    • I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Buddy bar!!!!
    • Since I exit the house through the garage, I keep the bar secured to the door if I'm away.
    • It is definitely heavier than the cheap bars, but this is the cost of sturdiness, and I don't find it especially difficult to move or carry
    • This bar is SOLID
    • tough bar all steel! holds the door perfectly,i doubt any intruder can bust this bar(god forbid) but in all its worth the money and peace of mind..the only thing is try to jack it high
    • I think the Master Lock bar is a good economical bar and will be suitable for many people, but the Buddybar definitely provides superior security, though at a premium price.
    • I recommend this product over the cheaper made bars.
    • This is really a very good heavy duty safety door bar, made out of steel and does the job making you feel secure at night with this bar against the front door or any door we bought it for our daughter.
    • Great bar
    • I had just returned a much less expensive security bar, (2) actually, the Brinks 675-83001 Home Security Commercial Door Jammer, that I bought on Amazon
    • Get this bar set at between 12 - 18" inches from the door and it works like crazy
    • We secured the bar and they bodyslammed themselves repeatedly against the door.
    • And if anyone does come through my door, this bar is heavy enough where I could knock someone out cold
    • This bar is heavy duty (all steel) and no comparison to the cheap kick bars found at local retailers
    • Love my buddy bar!
    • And to a point, both bars would just knock away from the door with a sideways force anyway
    • The bar works well
    • Really solid, sturdy, heavy bar that does a great job of jamming the door, powerfully
    • My neighbor has a very inexpensive, slightly built bar for her door.
    • The bar is extremely strong, the kids feel secure and we feel they are safer
    • For if you fail the bar, the bar will fail you
    • To remove, I take my foot and bump the bar back away from the door.
    • This is a very strong bar and it works
    • I kept trying to see if I could knock the bar loose by repeated quick pushes (putting most of my weight into it) and quickly releasing
    • I even showed them how to secure the bar in case I was unable to do so.
    • This is a very sturdy bar.
    • This bar is easy to put into place and is heavy duty.
    • Very tough bar, you will be happy with the quality of this item
    • I highly recommend this bar above all others.
    • We use it on carpet and took turns trying to kick in the door as hard as we could.
    • The top of the buddybar does not fit under the handle as well as it should.
    • but my wife another one if this one was stolen of broken (as unlikely as that seems).
    • and I sleep better knowing it would slow down an
