Do you want to trust a $20 Master Lock version with a plastic tip, or the one that just rings an alarm when someone touches the metal doorknob?

I bought a cheaper version of this bar and it doesn't even compare to this product!

Don't waste your money on the cheaper versions that won't do the job

so perhaps the non-adjustable version might be a better choice.

If you are healthy then I would think that the less expensive version of this door jammer (the one that requires that you give it a final kick to more firmly install) would be absolutely adequate

(I always look at the bad ones first!), talk to friends, and then, reluctantly, push the paypal button and cross my fingers - especially if I've decided to go for the more expensive version of an item

The cheaper version just slides across the tile floor when you open the door, however, the Buddyjammer can be used on tile or carpet floor.

Wonderful product and absolutely worth the additional cost over cheaper versions.

I've owned the cheap version from Master that is made out of plastic and aluminum.

I'm glad I didn't buy the cheaper version from another brand

The construction of the Buddybar seems really solid as opposed to some flimsy plastic versions.
