I was about to buy a cheaper $20 version, but after reading the other reviews, I'm so happy I opted to buy this heavy-duty one instead

Do you want to trust a $20 Master Lock version with a plastic tip, or the one that just rings an alarm when someone touches the metal doorknob?
-
I bought a cheaper version of this bar and it doesn't even compare to this product!
-
Don't waste your money on the cheaper versions that won't do the job

I was originally going to purchase a cheaper version but
-
The cheaper version just slides across the tile floor when you open the door, however, the Buddyjammer can be used on tile or carpet floor.
-
Wonderful product and absolutely worth the additional cost over cheaper versions.
-
I've owned the cheap version from Master that is made out of plastic and aluminum.
-
I'm glad I didn't buy the cheaper version from another brand
-
The construction of the Buddybar seems really solid as opposed to some flimsy plastic versions.
