It delivers a well brewed cup of coffee in about 3 minutes.

This makes for kind of a weak brew, which I don't like.

Had issues almost immediately,with coffee colored water leaking ( approx 2 cups worth ) when brewing

We received this item on time, read the directions and started making coffee the next morning, it makes our brew just the way we like it.

Bunn makes excellent products and having fresh brewed coffee in three minutes is the cat's meow.

I called and they sent me the flow restrictor valve which is suppose to make brewing fine ground coffee easier (and not overflow basket with water) by slowing down the output of water over the grounds--which works, but takes FOREVER to brew a pot.

Can't beat a Bunn coffee maker, super fast brewing and just the right temperature!

She absolutely loves her new Bunn velocity brew

The only other shortcoming that we've encountered so far is that brewing (only) 6 cups of decaf coffee almost overflowed the filter; I'm sure had we brewed more cups at one time it would have overflowed.

Upgraded to be more like a Bunn with a fast brew time but no reserve

The fast brew time is a great convenience!

And there's no shutoff valve when you pull out the pot so the coffee keeps dripping unless you waited until it stopped which undermines the biggest reason for buying the machine in the first place which is faster brewing time

Must be the warmed water and/or the quick brew.

Easy to use once you understand their dual tank concept and preheating the water to get that perfect 200 degree brewing concept

Great tasting coffee, FAST brew.

Recently began a search for the perfect cup of coffee everyday coffee...fresh roasted beans, ground to correct grind for bean and machine just minutes before brewing and to get the right brew temperature of water to bean for optimal flavor extraction

When those occasions arise, my Bunn is waiting in the cabinet, which produces a most excellent tasting brew

The coffee is only lukewarm when brewed, it needs to sit on the hot plate a while before it can be considered "hot"

I am back to enjoying fresh, well brewed coffee FAST.

While on first look, this method is quite ingenious, the sprayer sprays so fast, that it is not soaking and saturating the grounds and just going quickly down through them, creating a weaker brew

A common problem with drip makers is that they don't reach proper brewing temperature until most of the way through the brewing cycle

It hasn't hindered the brewing however.

The best part is not having to wait for brewing -- coffee ready in minutes.

Seems to me that since the restricted spray head slows down the brewing

The coffeemaker is probably worth the relatively high price.-Bunn has an excellent reputation for brewing good coffee.-I was concerned about the use of energy to keep the water preheated, but the tank that keeps the water hot for the next pot uses only 34 watts of electricity.-A free alternate sprayhead that is less forceful is available if overflow is a problem, but it seems that this would slow down the brew time.-Includes a deliming tool and an initial supply of Bunn filters.-I did not find the initial setup complicated at all.

The water is allowed to mix with the coffee grinds and slowly drip into the carafe for a rich brewed cup of coffee

Leaks while brewing if carafe is not placed exactly.

I choose this rating because we have used the BUNN Coffee Brewer for more than 10 years (different ones, of course) and they always meet our needs for fast coffee brewing!

of course it is good its a bunn pot of hot brewed coffee in 3 minutes can't go wrong, this is our second unit first one lasted 11 years that's less than 10 bucks a year

Because they quickly brew an excellent cup of coffee, I've put up with this and replaced my machine each time it would leak, or the warming plate fail, or not reach the correct brewing temperature.
