I definitely recommend this adapter to anyone with the need to create an ethernet port using a USB port (particularly creating a Gigabit ethernet port using a USB 3.0 port!).

Really love using the adapter

My adapter uses a legal MAC address and works exactly as advertised.

I have no complaints about these adapters

The adapter feels solid to the touch and not too bulky

The only suggestion I would have for Cable Matters is to make the cable about 6 inches longer as the surface Pro2 has the USB connection higher up on the screen area so the adapter is somewhat hanging from the USB connection while in use.

I wanted all of my computers to be able to maximize the network capabilities so this affordable adapter was added to my network and so far it seems to be working perfectly with my computer

Great adapter, Don't throw out the CD, Macs need the enclosed driver

After reinstalling the driver, the adapter works perfectly
