Call of Duty: World at War Greatest Hits - Playstation 3

    • The campaign is excellent
    • If your deciding which CoD to get between black ops or this get black ops but if you're thinking to buy this game so you can have the complete saga or to have a good campaign or zombies then buy it
    • The campaign seems like more of an after-thought
    • The intense, single player campaign is here again, but this time along with it comes the very well done cooperative campaign mode.
    • The cooperative campaign was very well done.
    • The campaign is great but not as great as Modern Warfare
    • The campaign IS rather short, kind of like Resistance 2, but the quality of the game is super, so well worth playing
    • Campaign: Not bad
    • I play it mainly with buddies in online multiplayer, but the campaign is good fun as well, especially in co-op mode
    • I play it mainly with buddies in online multiplayer, but the campaign is good fun as well, especially in co-op mode
    • This campaign is definitely better than the Black Ops campaign or any others
    • Campaign is awesome, Multiplayer is everything you would expect from COD. & Zombie Nazis!?!?
    • I cannot praise the storyline and single player campaign enough and, whilst I admitted that 'Black Ops' has the #1 superior campaign of all Call of Duty games, 'World at War's' comes in a very, very close second
    • Yes, indeed the campaign is a little bit tedious, i could't finish
    • I especially like the Nazi Zombies, but the campaign is great too.
    • The music is good; the lack of cut scenes hurt the campaign just as with COD 4

    • With a dark setting, no humour, an entirely serious tone, an intense campaign storyline, and being the goriest of all the Call of Duty games - 'World at War' stands out amongst the quickly growing crowd of its brother and sister games
    • I haven't tried multiply player yet, but the single campaign is great
    • Where the fun comes is "Zombie Mode" which is unlocked after beating the main campaign (sorry co-op players, have to unlock it solo campaign) and the premise is basically you and up to 3 others acting in an Alamo-esque manner has you defend against wave after wave of zombie nazis that get tougher the more you go
    • The online portion offers fantastic options such as online cooperative campaign, competitive campaign, and of course the traditional Call of Duty online game types
    • Now where I think this game shines isn't the campaign or the online muitiplayer, but Nazi Zombies
    • The intense, single player campaign is here again, but this time along with it comes the very well done cooperative campaign mode.
    • In addition to loving the campaign, I thought the multiplayer component was really fun as well
    • The campaign is fun and not so short like black ops its about World War
    • As if the campaign wasn't intense enough as it is, this cooperative mode adds just that much more fun to an already amazing game.
    • The campaign is also worth a play through not much more
    • Black Ops' fared much better, bringing more balance to the gameplay (initially) and well-designed multiplayer maps as well as probably the best campaign storyline in Call of Duty's history
    • I was a little concerned that it would not be as good as
    • Overall I would still highly recommend this game as it's certainly a franchise that will get better and better over time, especially as they push the PS3 processing power further than ever before.
    • She cried as if I had given it to her
    • you are a COD4 fan, you might like this game as it has some different things about
    • I liked the mission part of this game, but as great as the multiplayer could be,activision screwed it up when they purchased Demonware to oversee their multiplayer,it becomes apparent when more then 20,000 players are on line, not using a dedicted server you as a players suffers through lag,hit dedication, and just plain game connectivity issues, what i mean most times you have to unload an entire clip of ammo into someone to kill them, and all they have to do is shoot you once or twice to kill you, this is a company making millions of dollars between game and map pack sales to afford dedicated servers and they choose the cheap way out with this Demonware peer to peer crap, that said purchase at your own risk, activision does not care about their customers.
    • The multiplayer for this game is not as good as for call of duty 4, primarily because of matchmaking and team balancing
    • Nazi zombies swarm the house and your job is to kill as many as you can before being overwhelmed
    • Sound/Music: Just as awesome as with any war shooter is the sound mix from the explosions and gunfire to barking commanders issuing orders, it certainly does feel like we're in a warzone
    • You can figure out a M-1 won't destroy a tank...
