Very solid, albeit short, single player mode
-
The online mode is great
-
It is one of the best shooting game and has great story mode.
-
I like the nazi zombies mode a lot so
-
This mode is very addicting especially with some friends
-
The AI however can get extremely hard to beat in the hardest difficulty mode, sometimes too good
-
Its fun, but challenging, and has both good multiplayer & single player modes.
-
This is a must own but if this is your first cod game i'd recommend campaign mode.
-
Good general gameplay, but I was very disappointed to find that you CAN NOT save progress made in cooperative mode, only in single player mode.
-
There is though a great game mode Nazi Zombies which added a lot of replay value to this title
-
I'm not sure if this was done to help frame-rates, or if they wanted to maintain a certain aspect-ratio or what they were going for here, but it's a shame that they chose to waste some of the screen space with this split-screen mode
-
There is certainly replay value that is added to it with the cooperative mode.
-
The game will not use up the entire screen size in split-screen mode.
-
The intense, single player campaign is here again, but this time along with it comes the very well done cooperative campaign mode.
-
And the Zombie mode, I HATE the Zombie mode.
-
As if the campaign wasn't intense enough as it is, this cooperative mode adds just that much more fun to an already amazing game.
-
So with the not so good replay value of the SP and MP modes I gave this game a three.
-
There are enough modes to keep the game fresh
-
With 4 rather large maps with different aspects (traps, perks, weapons, interaction) this mode alone makes the game worth playing
-
As well as the fact of the introduction of the now famous Tryarch Zombie mode, which is worth this game alone (Especially on PC, with all the custom maps)
-
Thankfully, World at War plays very much like Modern Warfare, from the grim and gritty tone to the excellent multiplayer modes.
-
My only complaint with the cooperative split-screen is the unique way that the developers incorporated the split-screen mode.
-
I bought this because it offered a cooperative mode, and I feel cheated.
-
I mean, this mode of play overshadows the SP greatly, for the single fact that it's the same thing, just multiplayer
-
Team Tactical is a neat mode where each time only has three players, so the games become a lot more tactical
-
Never really been a big cod fan, but I really do enjoy zombie mode, and got a few games for friends so we could start playing
-
You can figure out a M-1 won't destroy a tank...
