The dirt sticks to them and since the balls are semi sticky feeling, you can't get the dirt off via fingers and thumb like you can regular balls.

My first impression is that the Kirkland ball goes farther for my swing speed of 81 mph, but I do love Callaway products ad these do have a very soft feel.
