But, if you’re new to hi-fi, be aware that entry-level cheaper AV amps are feature-rich and sound pretty good.

A dedicated higher end stereo amp like the CXA60 will give the sound a degree of refinement, but it’s easier to improve sound with better speakers than with a better amp
