A neat feature is that if you scan a number of small photos at the same time using the “Photo” option, the software (usually) automatically creates individual files for each photo
-
The software adds a number of nice features compared to what I'd been using--all things which improve the output and make the scanner even easier to use.
-
Many good features.
-
For those who are not looking for a lot of extra (and often unnecessary) features, this is a good, affordable choice
-
The best feature, for me, is the ability to scan more than one photo at a time, a definite improvement over my old scanner
-
The new feature of just one USB cord works just fine
-
If the photos are placed about 1/8-inch-plus apart, each will be transferred as one file - this is a good feature, because I typically can get up to four 3.5x5-inch or three 4x6-inch photos per scan - about 20 seconds for four photos or for a full sheet scan.
-
This scanner is USB powered, which is one of my favorite features.
-
For me, the top features are the ability to scan more than one picture at a time in a single scan and the custom scan settings
-
The only nice feature is that at least the folder is highlighted
-
It is much faster than my old scanner, and I love the feature where i can stack photos on the bed and it with scan them as individual files
-
Chose it over the Epson V550 and the Canon 9000F MKII (mostly due to its compactness).- Best feature for this (for the project) is the ability to rotate the scan field on screen.- Crazy fast scanning.- Automated file naming worked out well.- Was able to scan large negatives.- Quick set-up (downloaded driver ol because my comp is CD-driveless).
-
There are aspects of the Epson that I prefer over the Canon, but until Epson fixes their software, I suspect I'll be using the Canon for most of this project, unless I need the Epson's negative scanning feature.
-
These work good and the best feature I like is the software

-
The LED feature allowing for only a USB connection, without a bulky power adapter is a plus
-
Admittedly, all scanning software probably does this now, but it's certainly a nice feature to have.
-
That was another important feature for me; having negatives is obviously the best way to preserve a high quality back up of the photographs, but that is something I have no control over
-
It does have many features that I haven't yet tried, but for quick photo or document scanning, it works fine
-
Good price for good design and good features.
-
All the features worked fine on my laptop with a Windows 7 operating system
-
- this is a great feature as it halves the time.- Allows you to place pictures anywhere on the glass - this makes it really easy as you can just throw two pics on the scanner bed without fiddling about lining them up and it will scan both perfectly- Scans quickly-
-
I initially had trouble working the multi-page pdf feature on Win-10, A little help from Canon took care of that
-
(I'll concede my expectations to that lovely feature!).
-
So I bought a competitor brand printer and lost my copy/scanner feature.
-
Easy to use and contains many useful features.
-
One deficiency is the strength of the platten––it has limitations as to the weight of a book that one may want to scan.
-
I like the size and light weight of this scanner as well as that it doesn't need a separate power cord
-
However, this version of the software is not so bad as to make it unusable
