The price wasn't crazy like a lot of the Top of the line ones
Like WTF, how do you even develop software that breaks Touch ID
This unit exceeded my expectations, and price is right.
good home scanner, price is right and ease of install and use.
I wish there would be more settings for PDF resolution/size, but overall you simply cannot beat canon's LiDE weight, size, blatant simplicity and a price.
I like the size and light weight of this scanner as well as that it doesn't need a separate power cord
With the compact size, light weight, and ability to power through the USB, the LiDE220 is ideal for me to use on the go with my laptop as I do family history research at the library and with family
Used this to scan ~500 odd sized documents (photo & text &
The smaller size of this Canon scanner makes it easier to find room for it near the computer
I do like the scanner for its compact size and quality of scans
Simply a great scanner with phenomenal native resolution.
The high resolution makes it perfect if you're planning to do any restoration on the images
I'm giving this scanner 2 stars because while the disorganized software interface and false advertised resolution didn't live up to expectations, the scanner is lightweight and has a solid build
These work good and the best feature I like is the software
So I bought a competitor brand printer and lost my copy/scanner feature.
There are aspects of the Epson that I prefer over the Canon, but until Epson fixes their software, I suspect I'll be using the Canon for most of this project, unless I need the Epson's negative scanning feature.
It is much faster than my old scanner, and I love the feature where i can stack photos on the bed and it with scan them as individual files
The best feature, for me, is the ability to scan more than one photo at a time, a definite improvement over my old scanner
I use it at home and for business trips where I need to make good clean scans of documents when a photo will not suffice.
Fast and good quality scans and copy, easy to install and work with
Easy to hook up to computer, easy to use, good quality scans
Makes good scans of documents, which is all I've used it for so far

However, this version of the software is not so bad as to make it unusable
One deficiency is the strength of the platten––it has limitations as to the weight of a book that one may want to scan.
I like the size and light weight of this scanner as well as that it doesn't need a separate power cord
It DOES deliver on that promise; however, the software is very buggy and doesn't work properly, causing the unit to become more of a burden than a saving grace in only a week
The software that comes with it isn't horrible, and it is reliable
Their software works great and integrates into Photoshop
The software is absolute junk and doesn't work with Windows 10

To get it to work today my wife had to shake it aggressively to get some magical connection to make
If the connection is faulty, why does the scan even starts
Only problem is I have had to disconnect and reconnect scanner after scanning 8 to 10 photos because it seems to lose the connection because I get a message that it can't find scanner.
The one chronic pain that I have is that the scanner looses connection if not used for a while (not sure of time needed to "disappear") while under the Canon software
Does not operate with my computer: the scan starts and then stops and a message appears saying that the connection is faulty
