Wireless works excellent with Tablet and Mobile Phone, excellent device interface.
This is probably not the scanner to use in a busy office but for occasional use, this is a great device.
It probably is a good hardware device but the instructions that come with it are 1 page and then refers you to on line instructions
this device has the capability to upload scanned item directly to your favorite cloud service (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.) without the need of having cell phone or computer connected to it
Scan all my business documents - this device makes my job much easier!
Also as other users reported, the battery doesn't seems to hold the charge as it promised up to 260 scans (not even close to it).On the bright side, this scanner has very good build quality and build software is smart in rotating and coping the scans and rename the file automatically using OCR technology.
Scan quality is great and the colors that it picks up is accurate.
The quality of the image from this little scanner is great
A techie friend suggested that I set parameters as such: "Scan at highest "excellent " quality
While that would have been just a minor annoyance scanning text documents, it was a major problem scanning pictures.
Excellent scanning software with business cards, documents and receipts
ScannerThis is a great little scanner - in over 300 receipts, not one misfire - narrow, slippery cash register receipts, 8-1/2X11 sheets, odd sized, adhesive backed labels, the feed mechanism worked nearly flawlessly - on the rare occasion of a skewed feed, the software straightened the scan nicely -One tip, keep a pair of scissors handy to clip any tear off tips - they will prevent the receipt from feeding squarely - the clip can be at an angle - as long as most of the leading edge is 'square', the receipt will feed accurately
" -As best I can tell, any export does not include the image - Export to an Excel file is simple, but without the image is of little value -After doing a scan, a processing application MUST be specified, otherwise the scans will be lost - that is not really a problem - including a scan into an application is called 'registering' - trying to use the application while it is registering new scans is pretty 'stodgy' and it can take a while (maybe a minute or two per scan, a bit more?) to register scans - trying to edit a registered scan while the application is registering new scans can be frustrating - corrections get ignored or interrupted -Even after all new scans are registered, the ScanSnap application isn't smooth - it can take several seconds after clicking on a different entry for that entry to display - at this
But it makes for a good mobile scanning experience despite its limitations
