If you are scanning loose photos, it's all too easy for the photo to move while you scan it, so you need to secure the image
I tried different scan speeds from very slow to a bit faster but all I got was partial, blurry images
It works wonderfully, the above image was scanned with the scanner (on its lowest resolution setting)
