This is a very useful, yet reasonably priced, item that is helpful in order to go 'paper-less'.
THIS ITEM MAKES IT VERY EASY TO KEEP ALL MY DOCUMENTS IN
You could , of course put your item to be copied in a plasic envelope or sleeve, but I felt that to be too much trouble to make this an efficient item.

However you need a really steady hand or your pictures end up with waves in them
I do not have a steady hand to make this wand work properly.
Next, it works just like the hand-held scanners I started with in the 286 era: scanning was more of an art than a science because how good a scan you get is 100% dependent on how steady your hand is

It is so portable and easy to use and gives consistent results, if you take your time
I was not getting good results: Saw only a small slice of my document.
I do wish it had the monochrome setting of my older model, which could create smaller files for e-mailing, but it gives excellent results on any reasonably smooth, flat surface
I tried to remedy this by buying a small rectangle of clear acrylic to provide a flat surface over which to scan, but this resulted in a blurry image instead of a glitchy one.
The result was very little distortion and the entire page was crystal clear

It's been helpfult for my school assignments and I would recommend this device.
Received product fast, though the device is a bit cumbersome.
But, for its intended uses it is a very good device and the price is hard to beat.
Needed to return since the device was unable to connect to the computer.
This device has served me countless purposes from getting notes from friends to getting a few pages from a booki have not ran into any problems after using itI highly recommend this product to all of my friends especially those going into college and/or grad school

Even on the lowest DPI scan, it produces sharp images of a black and white handouts, with each page taking about 2 seconds to slide across
I've been uploading the pics to my computer and doing very simple cropping, and I can't get over how good the images look
The image portrayed by this scanner is excellent, but it is a little tricky to use
