Canon CanoScan LiDE220 Photo and Document Scanner

    • It is quick and the images are clear and detailed
    • This scanner features "Hi-Speed USB", the fastest version of USB 2.0 (USB 3.0 is known as "Super-Speed") and "fast" is the operative word: This scanner literally sucks the image right off the page
    • Scanner is producing vivid images.
    • Very nice images; although a bit slow.
    • Whereas before the images might have been suitable for 4x6 prints, the new ones can easily be blown up to at least 8x10.
    • (I turned off the sharpening function for a better quality image)
    • If I do this right, the images come out dust free and in perfect quality!
    • Scans quickly, Clear images.
    • Very high res and crisp images.
    • I wasn't looking for anything outstanding; just a reasonably good image of the document or photo.
    • With or without adjustment, the scanned image are just "inferior" to the 10-year-old Visioneer one.
    • Great image quality, and a really easy to use interface - it's also incredibly quiet
    • I have it set to automatically split images up that are on the glass, so I can scan 3-6 at a time, depending on size
    • It did a poor job of scanning these items: the images were blurry.
    • Great images
    • This Canon is supposed to be of much high resolution; yet, the images are much more grainy, EVEN with fine-tuning, say using Adobe Elements software.
    • Scanned images are flawless and the unit is not much larger a stack of 6 or 8 legal pads
    • Also, it generates decent quality images and PDF files, when it manages to complete a scan
    • Excellent images.
    • Takes very clear images
    • During the last use, I scanned 4 photos at once and, for the first time, these were viewable images, not PDFs!
    • All images near the borders of the platen necessarily come out a little unclear, because the paper cannot be in direct contact with the glass at that point
    • Compact and nice images
    • Fame and fortune await the person who creates a universally compatible image scanner.
    • After scanning is done, the software will split the image into multiple photos automatically so you don't have to worry about that aspect
    • To scan at 1200dpi, you need to use the ScanGear which scan very slow and doesn't split multiple images to separated files
    • And yet I wanted good image quality
    • The images was excellent & it's very fast.
    • The LiDE220 quickly scans great images and does it without taking up a lot of desk space.
    • When it works, this scanner creates beautiful images
    • Like WTF, how do you even develop software that breaks Touch ID
    • One deficiency is the strength of the platten––it has limitations as to the weight of a book that one may want to scan.
    • I like the size and light weight of this scanner as well as that it doesn't need a separate power cord
    • However, this version of the software is not so bad as to make it unusable
