So much conflict and inefficiency in our home because of this hideous printer and even worse Canon support

I suggest Canon do a serious FW update to improve the menu structure as settings are in multiple places and multiple layers that sometimes lead nowhere in the space time continuum.

I compared a printing of the image I was using from the Canon MF733Cdw to the same image printed on my HP M477fdw and, while they both had great quality, the Canon got the colors slightly more accurate than the HP.The only drawback to this printer is that there are no Linux drivers for it.

I highly recommend the Canon MF733Cdw over any other MFP out there

For an all in one color laser its on the cheaper side cost wise - however for someone like me, it was expensive and I expected it to work as well as my last canon which finally died after 7 years

I hope Canon know this problem and find a good way to solve it

If they're not as good as the Canon cartridges I'm going to chuck them out.

We have only used genuine Canon XL toner

In the end I decided that (a) Only about 16% of the reviews were negative, (b) there was not a single compelling complaint theme running through the negative reviews, (c) it was worth risking $350 in the hopes of avoiding a $1000 and up expenditure for a more commercial printer.

The printer apparently layered all the colors (and black) to make the "black" text (it also slowed way down as it was processing).
