Black and color prints are fast and high quality from Mac Pro, Macbook Pro, iPad Air 2 and iPhone

No official Linux support, but this can be worked around using the "CUPS Cloud Print" Google Cloud Print driverThis printer has rock solid build quality, beautiful printing and quiet, speedy operation.

I compared a printing of the image I was using from the Canon MF733Cdw to the same image printed on my HP M477fdw and, while they both had great quality, the Canon got the colors slightly more accurate than the HP.The only drawback to this printer is that there are no Linux drivers for it.

Pros:-Superb build quality, head and shoulders above HP-Great color print image quality and color accuracy-Very solid duplex ADF(Auto Document Feeder) scanner which works flawlessly(No skewed/crooked copies/scans).

Had to call tech support to get the scan-to-email set up (way more complicated than our HP); we never did get the email to the printer to work (the tech dismissed me when I asked by saying I wouldn't like it-what?).Loved the speed, loved the quality of the printouts, loved that I could put a stack of double-sided documents in the ADF and it would automatically scan both sides, loved the larger capacity paper tray

However, I tried enabling the Toner Save function and the quality was awful with that turned on

After some research, I decided on the Color imageCLASS MF733Cdw based on good reviews, an identical feature set(read duplex scanning and 28PPM), a news release from Canon about how these printers would have their best image quality yet and a great price.

To my relief, excellent quality!

But the lack of decent image quality was a killer for me and I returned mine.

Using laser printer premium photo paper (Staples Photo Supreme Paper, 8 1/2" x 11", Gloss, 100/Pack,use with laser printers), I achieved an excellent photo quality

Still, when I went to a local retailer to look at this printer, the build quality seemed pretty good.

Excellent quality

The printer apparently layered all the colors (and black) to make the "black" text (it also slowed way down as it was processing).

Lucky l found the installation CD,So far it seems to be working good, except that the touchscreen desktop is not as responsive as it needs to be
