This Canon printer has a number of other frustrating design issues, like having to lift the front "door" up every time to print, the fact that it goes into a deep sleep mode after a while and has to be manually restarted before sending a print job to it (making it worthless as a network printer), and just the flimsiness of the construction make it seem mediocre to me

The print quality is good and I like the fact that you can print from other devices such as a smartphone.

Cons: I HATE the fact that I have to lift up the front panel to print ANYTHING

I had purchased Canon products (camera and printers) and for most part they work as per the specs, though the user interface is not exactly friendly
