If you happen to find one that is inexpensive and reliable, that is a good thing, but you'll have to do your research and rely on referrals (from friends and relatives) to find a good company.

Compared to my old Canon MX860, this thing is cheap and poorly designed.

I get couldn't get this damn thing to work

The only weird thing I’ve noticed when printing from my iPhone, sometimes it wants to pull paper from rear tray and sometimes the front

Then it kept saying the wrong paper was installed (it wasn't), finally the thing jammed

Only thing I like is Canon support which is in the US

A few things were confusing, and even when I went to the website, the information didn't help

The unit itself resembled a large copy machine that I used to work with at my old job many moons ago, I hated that thing, always gave me trouble

There are a few positive things about this printer, it is a great compact size (which is why I purchased it in the first place), the ink is not super expensive to replace and it does a decent job at printing

printer seems pretty solid, first one i got was broken but amazon did the right thing and replaced

Printer seems to work okay but is very touchy as far as making one have to "Register" the paper if you so much as touch the paper tray or barely bring it out or even touch the silly thing.

I'm pleasantly surprised and happy with this unit so far, at least I'll be making great prints until it kicks the bucket like they all do!I know my review does not address every feature in depth like many of the others do, but since this product is so hit or miss between and within each brand, I thought I'd share my logic for picking one of these dreadful things, assuming they are all equally dysfunctional in one way or another

Probably the single greatest thing about this printer is the compact size.
