Canon Digital SLR Camera Body [EOS 80D] with 24.2 Megapixel (APS-C) CMOS Sensor and Dual Pixel CMOS AF - Black

    • When shot with a high end lens f 2.8 stop, the video quality improves but only for the trained eye, as did the pictures, but again the zoom controller only works with the included lens, the microphone added a ton of clarity to the audio compared to the on-camera mic and very comparable to a zoom mike bought eight years ago priced three times this one Rode included
    • Well built, awesome features, just pair it with a decent lens and you're set
    • but these days lens is really important too
    • The cropped sensor makes finding the perfect lens a bit difficult since they are made with full-frame cameras in mind (i.e. if you want a nice 35mm lens, you actually are shopping in the less popular 24mm lens range)Conclusion:If you are only taking pictures, you could find something better for just a little more money (full frame Canon), so I wouldn't recommend this if this is you.

    • just couldn’t keep up, even with an excellent lens like the EF 70-200mm F2.8 USM mounted on it.
    • It is heavy if you are not used to a good camera and lens.
    • If you are searching around for your first Digital SLR camera and are dead-set on getting a Canon, consider buying the Canon T6i or even the T5i and using your saved money on a really good lens
    • I can use this on a Zhiyun Crane with a stabilized lens and get phenomenal results
    • I cannot seem to get sharp focus regardless of what lens I use, probably an issue with this particular copy, I will most likely send it back
    • To me, this camera is a fusion of my old Canon Rebel Xsi (Yes, it's very old but still works!) and Canon PowerShot SX710 HS (with a good powerful zooming lens and video recording capability, very great for travel).
    • Note: if you manually focus, then pretty much any lens is quiet enough.
    • Nano USM lens so far is really impressive - super fast, silent focusing, and while it's not L lens quality glass, image quality is surprisingly good.
    • With a flash and a fast lens it helps though.
    • Great camera and lens combination
