I've used it to take some great pictures, not just of wildlife but also landscapes, shots at social get-togethers, etc

Little things that require extra steps can kill your picture and your fun.

I've had the 70D for many years, and it makes better pictures than the my copy of the 80D.The 80D's autofocus is, of course, much better than the 70D.The IQ is worse

I have my mojo restored and am taking pictures again and enjoying it.

I have an older 20d with an older sigma 20mm 1.8 - the 20d takes much better pictures IMO, but unfortunately it seems that the older lenses are not working so well with the newer focus system.

Definitely some nice improvements over the 60D (my previous camera) but lacks simple things like increasing the pictures remaining to 4 digits , and increasing the file numbering to 5 digits.
