Makes weird noises when shooting before getting a connection error

The autofocus makes some noise but for the price I can't complain.

 It makes very loud noise

My only complaint would be the that while taking a video it produces a loud clicking noise when set to auto focus

This lens pulls nice smooth focus and locks on to the subject without hunting and with audible noise

Shot some video with it at a theatre today used the tracking autofocus on the 80D and it started to make this nasty grinding noise

Also it makes this weird squeaking noise when zooming

And no static noise or hard sound coming from the focus, which is a big plus for shooting close ups for video

The first arrived with a defective autofocus, the second began making harsh grinding and clicking noises then reporting an error to the camera

It can be irritating for "home videos" but if you plan to remove the original sound for something else then the noise shouldn't be a problem

Great lens, super sharp, though not as quiet as i though it would be.

Use with my Canon 5Dr-s and works great
