Canon EOS 5D Mark IV Full Frame Digital SLR Camera with EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II USM Lens Kit

    • , it can't be overstated how good the Mark IV feel in the hand
    • I thought the Mark III was overall excellent in terms of stills quality
    • The Mark IV algorism is superior to just face detection
    • Love my 5D Mark IV.
    • Also, having used the Mark II as well myself, for those Mark II owners itching for the next big thing, with two generations of technology under its belt, the Mark IV is a worthy upgrade that you don't have to worry looking back on!
    • 50 megapixels would have limited the Mark IV in many ways (high ISO performance and FPS for example) and would be overkill for 90% of the work for which most people use the camera
    • I would recommend the Mark IV as a worthy upgrade for any MKII owners contemplating an upgrade.
    • Lightroom now supports the 5D Mark IV and the photos attached are just using the default settings in Lightroom (no extra sharpening etc)
    • Canon's claim on increase DR is 100% true, the difference is so obvious that it makes me hesitates pulling my favorite Mark III out of the bag
    • 7D Mark II took several min for it to begin logging.- Over all build and sealing seems as good as the 7D Mark II.- 1080p video @ 60p looks great
    • My old 550D would overheat when shooting 1080p, and the Sony cameras also overheat on 4K, so far the 5D Mark IV has been working reliably
    • The Mark IV again is not seen as revolutionary enough in some quarters
    • If you have an investment in "L" glass, prefer a full size camera in the hand (some of the mirrorless cameras are brilliant, but I have a hard time with their handling when they're combined with heavier pro lenses), and need a versatile, super reliable, and impeccably well built piece of kit, then you'll love the Mark IV
    • For three and a half years, I owned and loved the 5D Mark III
    • This could just be my units and maybe a bit of dust on the Mark III, but using the same lenses, I find the Mark IV viewfinder a joy to use, much like the Mark III's, and even a shade brighter!
    • With Adobe's latest Camera Raw 9.7, Adobe now supports the Mark IV, but you'll need the newest Lightroom 6 or Lightroom CC, which is another cost to add to your upgrade tally if you don't already have those versions and plan to use Lightroom.
    • It fits nicely, seems like the same size as the Mark II
    • The Mark II battery still works in this (the LP-E6N has slightly more capacity but is otherwise identical
    • At the end of the day, this is the whole point of upgrading so no complaints here! :)I highly recommend Canon 5D Mark IV!
    • As an owner of every EOS 5D model since the original, this model is just as impressive as with each generational upgrade.
    • Seems to me that Canon wanted to protect the 5DS/R from being cannibalized from a too potent 5DIV
    • Already the 5DS/R got improved
    • Seems to me that Canon wanted to protect the 5DS/R from being cannibalized from a too potent 5DIV
    • I haven't gotten around to comparing RAW vs RAW for the two, but at least on the back screen the image looks to be around 200K warmer than the previous version
    • My old 550D would overheat when shooting 1080p, and the Sony cameras also overheat on 4K, so far the 5D Mark IV has been working reliably
