12800 was something I wouldn’t even consider going near with the Mark II but now the quality of this has really blown me away
-
Quality of image is better
-
This basically tells me is that Canon rushed this camera to the market without proper quality controls, perhaps pressured by new releases in the pipeline by Sony and Nikon
-
The 5D IV seems to be hidden in the shadows of the D850 and Sony's a7rIII but is still a good camera with a good form factor, excellent image quality, and a GREAT lens selection -especially from the likes of Tamron and Sigma.
-
amazing picture quality
-
The camera takes great quality pictures
-
With the temp of technology I would say, this camera is lost itself value in 2018.Canon needs to find a way to support their existing cameras improving quality through software updates fixing what has been released.
-
Again, you can keep looking for other options with higher specs (if you use the camera mainly for video then definitely look for some other options) but if you want a high quality, reliable camera with the best set of lenses available, you won't regret buying this camera

But with Canon’s legendary quality, I believe they did borrow the technique from the 7D.8

I have been using this camera for about 6 months now and am blown away from the overall build quality, usability, and incredible image quality
-
It handles well, has great image quality, does everything that I need it to do, and has some great bells and whistles
-
As an owner of every EOS 5D model since the original, this model is just as impressive as with each generational upgrade.

Paired with some nice Canon L glass this combo is bulletproof
