I'm not sure if I would trust the tripod and the flash is a smaller slave flash

The tripod is a bit cheesy and will never work with this setup, but I expect it’s probably just a filler for the package

I give it a 3 because it comes with this ridiculously cheap tripod, cheap slave flash that I wouldn't trust for a paper weight

Flash is cheap, spare battery didn't hold a charge and the tripod makes me nervous to even consider using it.

The tripod is of OK quality and not very sturdy

Tripod is not horrible by any means just not as sturdy as you would want it to be when trusting it to hold a $600 camera setup, it would be perfect for a point and shoot camera

No I will say you will need a better tripod.

The extra battery, external flash, and tripod are all nice to have.

The less than great parts of the bundle are: 1) the extra battery charger (I have to fiddle with it to get it in the right position so it will charge, if not it will show a green light, indicating it’s charged when it’s not), 2) the tripod (seems VERY flimsy, and almost fell over a few times when I had the camera mounted), 3) the two lens attachments (these did very little to extend the range of the lens or to magnify it for macro shots), 4) the external flash attachment (this is thin plastic and the attached guide sheet is peeling off), 5) lens filter attachments (don’t seem to make much of a positive difference in the pics I
