The kit was great but some of the things weren't necessary
Camera is great & the lens kit you get it really amazing
I am a beginner in photography, these kits are very useful to me
This is a great kit for those looking to upgrade from a crossover to a DSLR or those who used mid range film SLRs back in the day and, like me, have been waiting for years to be able to afford a DSLR.You get everything you need to get started in both basic high quality photography and also doing those things that a crossover just *cannot* do, esp long exposures where the shutter is locked
All other items are sufficient enough to be a wonderful starter kit.

You could buy the camera body, the lens you need, and some better quality accessories for less than or about the same cost
Some accessories are not very good quality but it helps when you are a beginner
The Canon camera and zoom lens combo in this bundle is a good value at this price, but brace yourself for the poor quality of the other items in the bundle
Takes really good quality pictures, has many different settings, and isn't too heavy
My only gripe is the quality of the tripod, but that's an easy fix.

Product had a defect on the digital screen internally where BUSY showed as BuSY and some numbers that were in the same places as the u were not showing as full number leading to believe something was wrong with the section where the U was
The Camera is great but the accessories that come with are cheap products
I would totally recommend this product to anyone out there in the market for a new camera or as a gift
I know it is an older model but Cannon puts out a really great product

The only real flaws I see in this bundle are the very flimsy, aluminum tripod that I've already dented and the secondary flash does seem pretty cheap as well

Everything in the kit is 5 stars so upgrade the tripod to protect your valuables
Flash is cheap, spare battery didn't hold a charge and the tripod makes me nervous to even consider using it.
The extra battery, external flash, and tripod are all nice to have.
The tripod is crap though and really only good for light weight things like a smart phone mount or lighting.
