I just setup Google Cloud Print, and now I can stop using the old slow

I followed all instructions the printer came with to set it up to Google Cloud

I have followed every set of instructions from Canon and Google, however the printer cannot seem to register for any cloud printing on either the Canon cloud print service nor the Google Cloud print service.

So my Mac is connected, over to my Chromebook to set up Google Cloud print, which is done through the Chromebook settings with a final confirmation on the printer

First would not connect to my WiFi, then did but wouldn't come up in search on Google Cloud Print, then finally over an hour later it has finished setting up, I go to print and it's telling me to insert the "cassette" which I had to Google and find out what the hell it was talking about

This printer does not work with Google Chromebooks despite claim it support Google Cloud

Should've just kept my old Canon, but thought this would be an upgrade with Google Cloud Print capabilities.

I followed the included directions and was easily able to set up both Wifi and Google cloud print capabilities with no need to do any deep research or additional Googling (which has happened with higher end printers).It's very intuitive and has more functions than you would expect for a budget printer.

So if you have a chromebook you have to hit the settings on the printer and register the printer to google cloud

There are many other Canon compatible printers listed, so check the Canon Google Cloud listing of devices before you purchase.

After an hour of trying to connect my Chromebook, it wasn't until doing an extensive internet search that I discovered that android products need to be set up through the google cloud, and when I found the instructions for connecting canon printers, this model is not compatible

When I send things to print via Google Cloud, the yellow indicator comes on and the hard-to-read LCD says there is a job waiting, press OK

Other features like Google Cloud Print and scanning are good though.

Please note upon set up with google cloud print to choose S400 series printer with size A4 paper

After getting the printer on the network (a bit confusing) it was a snap to get the printer on my Google Cloud Print account for printing

Unfortunately i was unable to set up wifi-printing with the device but was able to set up google-cloud print which saved the device.

Then on Chrome on the computer you go to settings, advanced, printers, Google Cloud printer to set up
