Nevertheless, this Canon fires up easily when I need it and prints great-looking photos.

I use to have the i960, which was one of the better photo printers of its time.

Photos are ok but one of my best photo printers is the Canon Pixma iP8720 - exceptional quality and so easy to use, but it is three times larger

I don't need a printer to do anything complicated, just print good quality documents and photos without being overly complicated to use

Overall I say it's a good photo printer for the price.

This newer Pixma printer makes nice borderless photos, but it's not the best Canon photo printer out there.

Look at the printers that have more ink cartridges, if you really want a great photo printer, as opposed to a versatile office type printer

Pros:- Printed material, including photos on glossy paper, look really good

I use the Canon Print app to import photos from my iPad and love how easy it easy to select and air print high quality color photos from my iPad

While this printer looks awesome and does a great job printing photos and documents, its capabilities for scanning and copying documents are limited

This is my first photo printer, as a snap happy mom of two, I love, love taking photos of my 2 girls, now I can easily print them out instead of having to go out in this dreaded cold winter to have to pick up photos
