Canon PowerShot G9 X Mark II Compact Digital Camera w/1 Inch Sensor 3inch LCD - Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth Enabled (Silver)

    • But when traveling, at a gathering of friends and family, or just out and about town and country, having a great little pocket shooter at the ready means getting so many good shots that simply won't wait until you pull out your big ole DSL and snap on the best lens.
    • Great Lens, narrower zoom range than some, but excellent for normal use
    • This is the slower lens, with the G7X Mark II being the faster lens.
    • (4.2X), tiltable screen, 3X brighter lens at zoomed range (same at wide range)Con's: same as G9X camera, also $250
    • The lens' weak point (at least on my camera) is at the widest setting (10.2mm) in the mid apertures, around f5.0 and f5.6.
    • This is the slower lens, with the G7X Mark II being the faster lens.
    • Canon appears the have married a larger sensor to a camera with an inferior lens
    • My multi-lens DSLR kit was heavy, so I pared it down to a compact DSLR and a spare lens, but then it became a nuisance to me to still have a bag of any size to contend with all day,
    • The lens would not fully retract when the power button was pressed again.
    • The faster lens would be better for sports or low light performance.
