So far, it has taught me a lot by forcing me to go back to apply basic photographic skills in order to get good shots

Otherwise a great lens for easy panoramas and large-pixel frames, for fixing skew in architecture shots, for fully focused landscape shots with in-focus foreground, for changing depth of field orientation in artistic shots, and of course the miniature shots (if that's your thing).
