It's more heavy duty than my last case & I like the way the edges are raised a little more to protect the sides of my phone.

Black rubber corners look like it will protect no matter what edge it hits if dropped and not mar the case.

The edges are kind of rough when you first get it (?) but it smooths out

The TPU cover is a hard plastic with fairly sharp edges around the bottom holes for charging and speakers.

The main issue was that the edges of the cover and the openings all had sharp edges.
