As others have noted the processing time is fast (so is the TI, but this displays things like graphs much faster)Some disadvantages include:(-
-
I prefer Casio natural textbook display as I can easily replicate any equation in textbooks and save them for later
-
Plus CE had a much prettier display, however the monochrome display of the Casio was much easier to read
-
This allows me to review any blank or empty-minded areas and anyone who wants this Calculator I most certainly recommend it if you prefer a natural display over TI"s Linear display
-
The natural display really works well, better than any other calculator, and it graphs at lightening speed and finds roots etc effortlessly
-
The only small disadvantage is that connecting it to the internet isn't as easy as with TIs, and there appear to be fewer programmes available for the Casio
-
But if you go on to study circuits and upper level engineering topics, then this Casio 9860gii sits in a sort of "nowhere-land" -- It isn't as powerful or usable as you'd like, but also not as simple or cheap as some of Casio's great scientific calculators.
