Cracked one board from screwing too tight (instructions say not to)

It was the only one I could find new under $100.00 that was not made of cheap looking particle board with laminate over it

The problems that others list, such as the wooden plugs splitting the wood, twisted and warped boards, etc. are true

The boards are a bit thin, so it seemed the screws were going to crack the boards.

Top board/shelf had a split in the wood.

No boards were damaged as the whole thing was packaged very well

SENT ME THE DAMAGED BOARD AND SOME

Im still confused as to why I have so many screws left
