Nice piece of furniture

This is a wonderful piece

These shelves are great once they are put together however there were some small missing pieces that made it complicated to put together

and I struggled a little bit on the top piece but figured it out

But overall, a nice piece

Directions say "tapered edge upward" which, after getting to putting on the top, appears opposite to how the top piece needs to be, so my shelves have the tapeed side up but the shelf top is tapered side downward

After two hours of putting entire bookcase together and placing the very top piece on it, we noticed that the edges of the overhangs were different.

These sturdy shelves are attractive and think are the nicest piece of furniture I've ever bought for myself.

I was very impressed with how well the pieces were constructed and how tightly they fit together.

Be sure to screw that together in a well lit area because the holes for the top piece are very hard to see

For the money, I was glad it was wood and not plastic, but given all the glaring imperfections, don't think you're ordering a fine piece of furniture

All in all, for the price, this is a very nice piece and looks very nice in my workroom.

Beautiful piece of inexpensive furniture but be careful when assembling because a lot of the holes are misaligned requiring re-drilling of the pilot holes, also one of my pieces of wood that hold the top shelf was cracked but it is still functional with just three screws holding it down.

If you're good with tools you could drill, but the top is a nicely finished piece of wood which would then have holes

The pieces fit together well, but some of the wholes were are to find

I am old but had no problem-only six pieces, and a top- comes with screws and an allen wrench

Some pieces had minor cosmetic damage on arrival but not in noticeable places once assembled

I think that it is a very nice piece of furniture - especially for the price

However, my top shelf piece pre-drilled holes were not aligned with the left and right upright mounts, so only the back screws of the top are secured

Will be requesting a replacement top piece and can update then

For the money, it's a nice piece of furniture and addition to my home office.

Also, some of the wooden pieces designed to hide the screw holes did not fit, and there were not enough wooden pieces to cover all the screw holes.

There was a nick on one of the side pieces and no pilot holes drilled on the top piece.

Easier still with an extra set of hands to help steady pieces, but completely doable by one's lonesome

The damage to this particular item was done before shipping - the pieces were on the very interior of the box and protected by the, albeit flimsy, wrapping

Would have been great if the top piece had the pre drooled holes.

I reassured myself that it was probably just protective oil applied so that the wood's finish would look lustrous... but it was not a good introduction to an otherwise totally fine piece.

While it's a fine piece, the fact that I had to find more tools to complete the job is more than annoying.

Just realize what you're getting - a junky Chinese shelf that will last a few years, not a fine piece of furniture.

The only shelf that looked like that was the top shelf and the piecing together was underneath.

I would buy it again, but the screws to attach the top piece aren't long enough to actually screw into the top, and there wasn't actually pre-drilled holes to screw them into

The 'guide holes' for the top piece were very small and at first I didn't see them.

and it would be a much more stable piece of furniture if it utilized standard

One piece was missing a whole hole

Multiple pieces were broken when I received the box but the manufacture quickly sent me a replacement

The Top piece of wood I received has one damage small hole ; I did not noticed until I finish assembling
