Great instrument but one string broke not sure how to contact seller for replacement

Terrible instrument, it never played well and became decoration only.

Luckily the instrument was fine itself, but it could have been a big disappointment for somebody who was relying on the whole set to start playing.

save your money and buy a better instrument .

Now, about the shipping - the box doesn't really provide any protection and in my case the instrument arrived with a broken bow (tip was broken in half) and 2 snapped strings

And the sound was pretty nice (but this same pro player gave me a set of strings they don't like, which was more expensive than this instrument, so I don't know how it sounds with stock strings).For the price, quality is very decent and this can make a very decent beginners instrument

After a month and a bit, I have to admit: my plan has backfired, I love this little thing, and now actually intend to upgrade to a really, really nice wood violin, just as soon as I can get to the point where I won't utterly embarrass myself if I take a trip to a dealer of fine instruments and try them out

It has real wood parts, real tuners and fine tuners, and is generally a perfectly fine instrument.

Broken when received, neck was completely detached, I had to reattach and reinforce with screws, works perfect now but not a great instrument and not well made.

This is a fantastic instrument

So, this instrument is not perfect - the bridge is a little high, and the paint is a little uneven, and the included headphones and strings are pretty chintzy.

First off I want to say, for the price, this is actually a very very nice instrument

A well-built instrument with all the functionality of an expensive violin

This is probably the best instrument you will find for this incredibly low price

quite playable - fingerboard was nice and smooth, bridge curvature was very decent and in general the notes on this instrument are in the same place as they are on professional instruments (that's one of the biggest problems cheap instruments have, apparently)

If you want to go the extra mile, though, and have this instrument sound really nice, pay more

I have really enjoyed this instrument as a beginner violinist

The A string and E string fine tuners were really loose and I had to reset them

The strings really are the core of an instrument; the rest is just amplification and reverb, and even these are sold separately on an electric instrument.(Incidentally, be sure to put the little parchment tone-filter from the nice new E string so that it sits on the bridge, or the wire will slice through it over time, like an ultra-slow-motion cheese-cutter
