I did rosin up the cheap bow, just to test it out.
-
the bow just feels...cheap
-
The bow that came with it is very good
-
Yes, the headphones are junk - use your own good ones, the bow is cheap (but usable), everything about the instrument and the case feels factory-cranked-out shoddy
-
Completely useless bow and string and all other accessories part, but fair
-
When I got mine, the bow was warped, the bridge was much higher than it's supposed to be, and one of the pegs is cracked
-
Do plan on this unit being a backup to your regular instrument, and plan to use your favorite bow.
-
The bow isn’t great but functional and it did come with a couple of broken hairs but nothing major.
-
The bow isn't bad
-
Especially surprising, the supposedly 'cheap beginners bow' is flawless, finely crafted, with attractive mother-of-pearl inlays matching those on the fiddle, and has the look and feel of a much more expensive bow
-
I plan to buy a better bow too.
-
The bow is a bit warped and I wish it wasn't
-
The case and bow broke almost immediately and the rosin and headphones are not much better
-
My only complaint about this set would be the bow, it is poor quality
