It's a great instrument for silent practice

The instrument itself is immaculate

Really though, a great instrument for any beginner

and it has a good weight to it, obviously more than an acoustic because this is a solid body instrument

I was looking for an inexpensive student violin for my daughter to start learning on, but this isn't just a cheap practice instrument: I can easily imagine using it for performances

and it was a far superior instrument and sounded

I didn't care for the cheap headphones that came with it, but the instrument itself is wonderful.

I hope Cecilio will replace the instrument or refund me

Not sure what brand of strings it comes with but the G&D are decent; A&E are pretty rough
